We've spent the last two years delivering award-winning AI, automation, and digital skills training to over 150 businesses across the South West. Thousands of hours of hands-on, practical learning that's helped real people do real things better.
Now we're opening that up to everyone. No funding criteria. No waiting lists. No jargon. Just practical skills that make a genuine difference to how you work.
Before we launch, we want to hear from you. What skills matter most? How do you prefer to learn? When works best? Your answers will directly shape what we build. It takes a few minutes, it's completely anonymous unless you choose to share your details, and it genuinely makes a difference.
Choose whichever you prefer. Both collect the same information and take just a few minutes.
The chatbot is a great example of what practical AI looks like in action. Give it a go.
Once we've gathered enough responses, we'll use the data to shape our first wave of Open Learning courses. If you leave your contact details, we'll let you know as soon as relevant courses become available. No spam, no hard sell, just a heads-up when there's something that matches what you asked for.
"AI isn't a technical skill. It's a communication and delegation skill. And that means everyone can learn it."- Scott Quilter, Co-Founder, Techosaurus
Until now, most of our training has been delivered through government-funded Skills Bootcamps. Those programmes changed lives, but they came with eligibility criteria, geographic restrictions, and limited availability.
Open Learning is different. It's the same proven, practical training, delivered by the same award-winning team, but open to anyone who wants to learn. Whether you're an individual looking to upskill, a freelancer wanting to work smarter, or a small team that needs to get better with the tools you already have, Open Learning is for you.
Courses are designed to be flexible, affordable, and relevant. You'll learn by doing, not by sitting through theory. And because we're not bound by funding rules, we can build courses around what people actually need, not what a government framework says we should teach.
We're building our course programme around real demand. Here are the areas we're developing, and we want to know which ones matter most to you.
From first steps with AI tools to advanced techniques for augmenting your workflow. Practical, hands-on, no hype.
Stop doing the same thing twice. Learn to build automations that save hours every week using tools you already have.
Get more from Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, and the rest of the suite. Work smarter, not harder.
Write faster, format professionally, and use smart tools to create documents that are clear, consistent, and easy to maintain.
Go beyond the basics. Formulas, dashboards, data analysis, and the confidence to make Excel work for you.
Design stronger presentations with better structure, cleaner visuals, and practical storytelling techniques for business audiences.
Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps. Build reports, automate processes, and create apps without writing code.
Get confident with Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, and collaboration workflows so your team can move faster together.
Understand the threats, protect your business, and make security part of your everyday practice.
Tell us what would be most useful for you or your team. We will build it.
These are starting points. Tell us what else you need and we'll build it.
Anyone who wants to learn practical digital skills. No prerequisites, no prior experience needed, no complicated eligibility criteria.
Upskill on your own terms. Book a place, turn up, and learn something that makes Monday morning easier.
Get two or three colleagues together and learn as a team. Same course, shared context, better results.
Learn the tools that save you time and help you compete with bigger teams. AI, automation, productivity.
Give your people the skills they need to keep up with the pace of change. Affordable, practical, and relevant.
Open Learning is designed for individuals and small groups booking onto scheduled courses. If you need training tailored specifically to your business, team, or sector, we do that too. We've worked with organisations of all sizes to deliver bespoke programmes that fit around your operations and address your specific challenges. Get in touch and we'll put something together for you.
We're designing courses to fit around real working lives. That means flexible formats, sensible scheduling, and learning that actually sticks.
We know one size doesn't fit all. Open Learning courses will be available in a range of formats, from intensive full-day workshops to shorter sessions spread over a few weeks. Online, in-person, or a mix of both. We'll let the topic and the demand guide what makes sense.
If you've sat through a training course where someone reads slides at you for six hours, you already know what we don't do. Our training is hands-on. You'll work through real scenarios, use real tools, and leave with skills you can apply the same day. That's not a marketing claim. It's what 150 businesses will tell you.
