Private Training

Private training for education and public services

Practical delivery that recognises safeguarding, policy, budget, and workforce realities across education and public sector contexts.

What sets us apart

We understand your constraints
Budget pressures, INSET day limitations, safeguarding obligations, and policy requirements are not afterthoughts for us — they shape how we design every education and public sector programme.
Responsible use is built in
We do not treat ethics and governance as a tick-box at the end. Our education-sector sessions put responsible AI use, data protection, and safeguarding at the centre of every session.
AI is a communication skill
Our approach works for every member of staff — teachers, support staff, administrators, and leaders. No technical background needed, and no one gets left feeling like AI is not for them.
CPD-ready delivery
Our sessions are designed to count as meaningful CPD, not just tick a box. Participants leave with practical skills, clear next steps, and the confidence to keep developing independently.
Multi-award-winning
Best EdTech Provider (Tech South West 2025) and Best Use of Technology (Somerset Business Awards 2025). We know how to train people to use technology well.

How we work

Our Crawl, Walk, Run framework is well suited to education and public sector settings, where confidence and trust need to be built carefully:

🐛 Crawl
Build awareness and reassurance. Staff understand what AI is, what the risks are, and what your organisation's position is. Fear and misinformation are replaced with informed confidence.
🚶 Walk
Build practical capability. Hands-on sessions tailored to teaching, administration, or service delivery — using AI tools to save time on planning, communications, reporting, and routine tasks.
🏃 Run
Build sustainable habits. Staff are using AI regularly, responsibly, and in line with policy. Internal champions support colleagues and the organisation continues to develop without constant external input.

Many education and public sector organisations benefit most from starting with a well-designed Crawl session before anything else — setting the right foundations makes everything that follows much more effective.

⚡ Microsoft Power Platform

We specialise in the Microsoft Power Platform and deliver focused, practical training across the full suite.

Power BI

Turn your data into clear, actionable insight. Our Power BI training covers connecting to data sources, building reports and dashboards, DAX fundamentals, sharing and collaboration, and governance. Suitable for end users and report builders.

Power Automate

Reduce manual effort and connect your tools. Learn to build automated workflows across Microsoft 365 and third-party services — approvals, notifications, data routing, and scheduled processes. From simple flows to complex multi-step automations.

Power Apps

Build lightweight business applications without writing code. Our Power Apps sessions cover canvas apps, model-driven apps, connecting to data in SharePoint and Dataverse, and designing practical tools for real business needs.

Suitable for: Teams looking to improve productivity, reduce repetitive tasks, or build internal tools using the Microsoft ecosystem.

💼 Microsoft 365 Orientation & Modern Work

Not every training need is about AI. We also help organisations get the most from their existing Microsoft 365 investment.

These sessions cover:

  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other productivity tools
  • SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams — structure, governance, and effective use
  • Modern collaboration and communication best practices
  • Onboarding and orientation for new starters
  • Setting up and maintaining a well-organised digital workplace

This is particularly valuable for organisations that have the tools but have not had the training to use them well.

🔄 Automation & Workflow Design

For organisations ready to move beyond individual AI use into building reliable, repeatable systems.

Our automation training covers:

  • Workflow logic and systems thinking
  • Triggers, conditions, approvals, and exception handling
  • Cross-platform integration using low-code and no-code tools
  • Integrating AI safely into automated workflows
  • Human-in-the-loop design and governance
  • Testing, documentation, and handover

This is the natural next step for teams that have completed foundational AI training and want to embed it into how the business operates.

Priorities we cover for you

CPD-style AI awareness and confidence building
Responsible use frameworks for staff and service teams
Workflow improvements that protect quality while saving time

Training designed around your organisation

We work with organisations of all sizes to design and deliver training programmes that fit your team, your tools, and your goals. Every engagement is different, but our approach always follows the same principles:

Discovery
We talk to you about your context — sector, staff profile, existing policies, safeguarding requirements, and what you most want staff to be able to do differently.
Design
We build a session or programme that fits your available time, your budget, and your policy environment. INSET days, twilight sessions, and term-time scheduling are all workable.
Deliver
Sessions are delivered by experienced facilitators who communicate clearly, make AI approachable, and keep responsible use visible throughout.
Follow-up
We can provide policy guidance, staff resources, and follow-up support to help embed what has been learned and give staff somewhere to go with questions.

What this looks like in practice

Here are some recent examples of programmes we have delivered:

  • A whole-staff AI awareness INSET session for a secondary school, covering what AI is, safeguarding considerations, and practical uses for teachers and support staff.
  • AI and Microsoft Copilot training for the administrative team at a multi-academy trust, focusing on time-saving for communications, reporting, and routine documentation.
  • A series of twilight CPD sessions for a primary school staff team, building from AI awareness through to practical prompting and classroom policy development.
  • AI governance and staff capability sessions for a local authority department, co-delivered with the authority's data protection officer to ensure alignment with public sector obligations.

AI Governance + Training: a complete package

In education and public services, responsible AI use is not optional — it is essential. Safeguarding, data protection, GDPR, and sector-specific guidance from bodies such as the DfE all need to be reflected in how your staff use AI. We design our education-sector sessions with these obligations built in from the start, not added as an afterthought. We are also able to co-deliver sessions alongside your data protection officer or designated safeguarding lead to create a truly joined-up staff experience.

If your organisation is undertaking an AI governance review, data protection assessment, or compliance project, we can provide the practical training component to complete the picture.

Flexible delivery, consistent quality

Every organisation and individual learns differently. We offer:

In person Live online Blended Pre-recorded modules Follow-up mentoring AI Council support

In-person delivery takes place at your premises, at our training venues, or at partner locations across the South West and beyond. Online sessions run via Microsoft Teams or Zoom. Pre-recorded modules can be provided for your LMS or internal platform. Every programme is built around real outcomes, not generic course templates.

Not just for large organisations

We know that not every digital learning need comes from a large organisation. Solopreneurs, freelancers, entrepreneurs, and small business owners deserve the same quality of practical, face-to-face training.

That is why we work with local chambers of commerce and councils across the region to offer Open Learning courses that anyone can book onto individually — no minimum team size required.

Frequently asked questions

🏫 Can sessions be delivered during INSET days or twilight time?

Yes. We design our sessions to fit the time available, whether that is a full INSET day, a two-hour twilight slot, or a series of shorter sessions across a term. Tell us what you have and we will make it work.

🔒 How do you address safeguarding and data protection?

These are built into the session design, not added at the end. We cover what not to share with AI tools, how to talk to students about AI, GDPR considerations for staff, and how to align with your existing policies. We can also co-deliver with your DSL or DPO.

📋 Can this count as CPD?

Yes. Our sessions are designed to constitute genuine, meaningful CPD. We can provide a session outline and attendance confirmation for your CPD records.

💷 How does pricing work given tight budgets?

We understand that education and public sector budgets are under pressure. We provide clear, transparent quotes and will always try to find a format that delivers genuine value within your means. Get in touch for a no-obligation conversation.

🌍 Can you deliver online or remotely?

Yes. Live online sessions via Microsoft Teams or Zoom work well for staff training, particularly for admin and back-office teams. We can also design blended programmes for schools or councils with multiple sites.

📚 Is there a self-paced option for staff to start before a live session?

Yes. Our CPD-certified online Generative AI course is available now and can be used as pre-reading before a live session, or as a standalone resource for staff who want to build confidence in their own time.
